Education is an important part of any health care approach. AnthroHealth is no exception. Here at CWT, we engage with patients and the public as well as other health professionals in a variety of ways.
Patient education is part of the AnthroHealth approach helping people gain insight into their condition and how they can meet its challenges is key to success. We provide this individually during doctor / nurse consultations but also more generally through our information leaflets, education days and patient talks. We also make suggestions for further reading.
As the AnthroHealth approach is an extension of conventional medicine, our team work to communicate key aspects of our approach to other health and social care professionals. We run informal training days and input into formal training for some professionals.
The younger generation are often curious about different approaches to healthcare. We provide placements for medical students and input into pharmacy students’ training. We can arrange work experience days for pupils applying to medicine and allied professions.

Feedback from visiting students & professionals:
So interesting! I have loved learning about the place and some alternative therapies- thank you so much for your time!
Raised awareness of therapeutic use of art, music, etc. Excellent, enthusiastic teaching.
Dr Geider was extremely knowledgeable about complimentary medicines and a very engaging speaker and I learned a lot from such a short visit.
I had no idea what to expect from my visit to Camphill and I was pleasantly surprised. I would definitely like to learn more about complimentary medicines and will be less dismissive of their use in future.
Thank you for an interesting and thought-provoking day
